Well, The site got hacked! and it sucked. I had to mess around with a bunch of stuff and I believe I lost a few posts. The forums won’t be back up again until tonight unfortunately. but I will get them back up and running soon. I promise.
I’ll be posting more soon about what’s been going on with me and such-not, and do expect the look and feel to be changing around a good bunch, as I’m not totally satisfied with things. But never fear, we’ll get things up and running sure enough.
Since I’m not following the politics as closely as I should, and Rachel does follow it pretty closely, I’d just like to say welcome as she may from time to time be posting up links and a few words here and there to point out interesting news items that we should be paying attention to.
So give her a good welcome and click on the links she puts up. Don’t live in a bubble folks!
So I know I eliminated about 10 very short threads in doing this, and I am sorry about that. But I found the last forums that I used to be incredibly insecure. I got a rather tremendous amount of porn getting posted there which is silly considering my count of 10 registered members.
So I’ve switched over to a new forum system which I like a lot better already, I’m hoping that folks will come back and reregister and start some discussions.
The new forums are a lot less scary, they’ve got three topics (general discussion, nerdism, and geekery). Content is seriously needed though. So come on in and help out. There’s a link on the right side of the page but I’ll throw up another one here so you can all see it.
